Joe Vance

Joe Vance joined PMI after a 27-year career in the Technology and Human Capital sectors where he led Consulting, Outsourced Services, Account Management and Sales teams in developing and delivering successful client engagements.

As Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Ajilon Consulting and Adecco North America, Joe led a strategic Sales and Account Management transformation initiative to integrate multiple business units through a collaborative, value-focused sales methodology uniquely customized within a best-in-class CRM platform. Joe’s success in North America led to the expansion of the program and platform as Adecco’s global standard for Enterprise Sales and Account Management.

During his 19 years with Hewlett-Packard, Joe developed and managed global consulting projects, technical support operations and outsourced IT engagements including the integration and management of HP’s 325-person Americas Storage Support organization during and after the world’s largest IT merger of HP and Compaq.

As the leader of HP’s “Platinum” Support Teams, Joe developed and delivered customized service solutions to achieve the most demanding mission critical IT availability requirements in projects such as NASDAQ’s Network Operations Center. A disciple of metrics-driven quality, Joe implemented Statistical Process Control techniques within his services portfolio to improve and differentiate delivery processes, manage client expectations and engender long-term loyalty.

Joe’s career includes 17 years in the Federal Aerospace, Defense, Intelligence and Civilian Agency communities leading technical teams and mission critical programs to achieve delivery, organizational and financial objectives.

He enjoys developing solutions for complex business problems, using his background to architect efficient processes that provide sustained, measurable results.  His passion for training and coaching has included roles as a Calculus Instructor for Federal civilian employees; Adjunct College Professor; and Sales & Account Management Coach – the latter where he led instructional workshops and developed the content for on-line CRM instruction.

Joe holds a BS degree in Geological Sciences from Virginia Tech and an MS in Management from Colorado Tech. Joe resides in Denver, Colorado.
