Don Purvis

Don comes to Performance Methods with over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and product management in the information technology industry. During a 10-year career at SAP America, he most recently led the deployment of field best practices, processes and tools as Vice President of Field Operations.

In Don's three year tenure as Vice President of Field Operations, he helped SAP adapt to changing customer needs and market conditions via a variety of skill development programs. These programs included effective executive positioning of strategic product suites (CRM and SCM), new hire on-boarding focused at reducing time to productivity, and best practices in territory management and opportunity planning. In this capacity, he also led the deployment of supporting field management disciplines and tools. He was recognized as a Circle of Excellence top performer in both 2000 and 2001 for his leadership role in these programs.

In addition to his work in Field Operations at SAP, Don also played a significant role in the launch of a new business unit (SAP Public Services and Education) as Vice President of Solutions and Partner Support. Prior to that, he successfully pioneered the solutions management role in the SAP Southern Region and began his SAP career as a top performing Solution Engineer.

Don also spent six years at Management Science America where he held various sales support, product marketing and product management positions. He managed the development of a new financial reporting system and led the field sales training and sales support efforts. As a financial products marketing manager, he also developed and led all product launch activities.

Don began his career at Acuity Brands in accounting and financial systems management. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and also holds a Masters of Business Information Systems from Georgia State University.
